New Video Training Helps Organizations Move from #MeToo to #NotHere

BELLEVUE, Wash, October 24, 2018–Media Partners Corporation, a leading producer of premier people skills training films and learning content, today released its latest training film production Once & For All: Stopping Sexual Harassment at Work. A little over a year ago ─ spurred by almost daily headlines exposing workplace sexual harassment─ Media Partners launched its most ambitious and largest investment ever in a new training program. The goal: help organizations move from sexual harassment awareness and compliance to prevention and behavior change.

“Most sexual harassment prevention training films on the market are terrible,” said John Hansen, CEO of Media Partners. “They are either so over-the-top that employees roll their eyes, or they are filled with so much legalese that employees are bored to tears. We approached this challenging topic with our typical Media Partners’ commitment to cinematic quality, providing realistic but memorable scenes that engage employees and empower them with information and instruction they can use to stop sexual harassment behavior in the workplace once and for all.”

“We know this issue is pervasive and disruptive, but we also believe it is fixable,” said Karen Edwards, vice president of marketing, Media Partners. “Changing behavior starts with great training, and you make sure that the learning doesn’t happen just once but is ongoing.”

About the Film Production

Once & For All:  Stopping Sexual Harassment at Work is a ground-breaking program that features:

  1. Cinematic quality production, powerful acting, and realistic scenarios that engage learners.
  2. Masterful storytelling that inspires thoughtful re-evaluation of attitudes and actions.
  3. Content approach that makes this topic’s complexities and legal points easier to understand.
  4. Modular format that appeals to today’s learners and results in a program that can be used year after year.
  5. Employee training compliance for the most stringent state/city laws, including California and New York.
  6. Comprehensive support materials and an eLearning option that reinforce learning and behavior change.

The film focuses on the most common, but least blatant sexual harassment behaviors. The realistic and relevant storylines tackle this tough issue by helping employees identify, handle and ultimately prevent workplace sexual harassment. Topics covered in the film and the supplemental Employee Handbook and Leaders Guide include:  Quid Quo Pro Sexual Harassment; Hostile Work Environment Sexual Harassment; Bystander Sexual Harassment; Third Party Sexual Harassment; and Bullying & Abusive Conduct.
