Please Respect My Generation! - 5 Generations at Work
Program length: 23:00

We now have as many as five different generations together in the workplace. Please Respect My Generation bridges the gaps among them and shows employees how to avoid conflict and increase productivity in their generationally diverse workplace.

By learning about life experiences, values, and ideas of all five generations, participants gain a better understanding of their coworkers as it relates to their own experience and behavior. This overview of the 5 different generations gives viewers a foundation for increased understanding and tolerance. For example, learn what our newest generation, Generation 9-11, and our oldest, the Traditionals, have in common. Participants will learn to communicate better, deal with change, increase productivity, and develop respect for all stages of life.

Key Learning Points:

  • Explore which traits are commonly associated with each generation and their impacts.
  • Discover how miscommunication between generations can be avoided.
  • Understand the importance of respect and unity in the workplace for people of all ages.
  • Gain a better understanding of how generational stereotypes, both good and bad, can be just as disrespectful as cultural and ethnic ones.

Included is an inspiring and positive 3-minute meeting opener/closer, OpeningLines: Bridging 5 Generations. This program introduces the five generations in the workforce, including the youngest one, Generation 9/11.

Best program out there that most accurately reflects all generations in the workforce right now. I've used it in a few training events and have received wonderful feedback from all generations.
