Synopsis
Everyone has fears but Marcus worries that Sam is watching him to find mistakes.
Almost everyone at Cutting Edge admits to having fears. Marcus worries about Sam scrutinizing him. Casey thinks Carol’s always pouncing on her mistakes. Dion is afraid that he is considered to be too young for his role. Barney states that fear is all in the mind, while Steve counsels remembering that fear stands for “false expectations appearing real”. Sam recommends deliberately tensing one’s body and then releasing fears in one big breath, while Carol asserts that fear can be handled with one of her verbal punches. Dion practices a mindfulness technique with Marcus who he hypnotizes into visualizing Sam as a chicken whenever Sam triggers his fear reflex.
Cutting Edge Communication training videos are designed to provoke discussion and response. Contemporary, fast paced, short, character driven, sitcom-style comedies, these courses take an innovative approach to reaching today's learners. Through laughter, discussion and reaction, we can all develop a more transparent and shared vision of how we wish to behave, how we manage ourselves, and how we cooperate with others.
While some find them insensitive or even outrageous, the vast majority of viewers and participants have found them to be refreshing, stimulating and ideal for injecting energy and enthusiasm back into learning.
